The Universal R20 Recumbent Bike offers 8 levels of magnetic resistance and 7 workout programs to keep you motivated and challenged.  The bike comes with an easy-to-use console with a large easy-to-read LCD window that displays your workout stats as you exercise including time, distance, speed, calories burned and pulse heart-rate.  The console is operated with either batteries or with an optional AC adaptor (available separately).

In addition, there’s a media shelf built into the R20’s console and there’s also a sound system with MP3 input and speakers so you can keep entertained as you exercise.  Located on the frame underneath the console is a water bottle holder so you can keep hydrated without having to get off the bike.

The ergonomically-designed Universal R20 Recumbent Exercise Bike features a low step-over frame that makes it easy to mount and dismount the bike.  The comfortable ergonomic seat is fully adjustable to suit different rider heights and the backrest offers welcome support to your back.  The handrails at either side of the seat incorporate pulse-grip heart-rate monitors that connect to the console so you can check your heart-rate and keep within your target heart-rate zone.

The Universal R20 Recumbent Bike is constructed with a heavy-duty steel frame for sturdy use and offers a user weight capacity of up to 275 lbs.

Motivational tip:  Cycling for just 30 minutes could burn between 207-345 calories for women, or 252-420 calories for men, depending on the intensity of the cycling.

See what other customers who bought the Universal R20 Recumbent Exercise Bike have to say about it:

T.W.:
“The Universal R20 is a great bike.  We bought it for my husband after he had a knee replacement.  He’s recovering very well and continues to use this recumbent bike.”

J.A.:
“I like the Universal R20.  I was a little surprised it didn’t come with a power cord, but overall this is everything I expected.  I’m slowly building a home gym and we’ve been spoiled by commercial-grade gym equipment but this bike appears to me to be of the same quality as the bikes at my local gym.  This bike is quiet enough to use in the living room without disturbing everyone else and we use it while watching TV.  Being a recumbent bike, you sit further back than you would on a traditional bike which puts your weight back and uses your leg muscles a little differently to traditional bikes and is supposed to be better for you.”

M.C.:
“The Universal R20 is a reasonably nice recumbent bike.  It took me just around 50 minutes to assemble and came with good instructions.  The console display is LCD which I personally think is a bit old school.  The bike itself works smoothly and quietly.  It’s easy to step through to get on and off the bike.  It’s easy enough to move to a new location in the room if required.  Wish they had included a power cord.  The highest resistance setting didn’t offer as much resistance as I was expecting but this isn’t a problem as I don’t use at the highest level anyway but somewhere towards the high end of the range.  I don’t find the seat too comfortable.  The water bottle holder’s not that great.  Overall though this is a nice piece of exercise equipment.”
