The Schwinn MY17 170 Upright Exercise Bike incorporates the same high-end features of its predecessor (the 2013 model) but comes with a redesigned console for 2017 that now includes Bluetooth connectivity for quick and easy transfer of your workout data to your own smart phone/device for online goal tracking with Schwinn Connect and other compatible fitness apps.

Like its predecessor, the Schwinn MY17 170 Upright Exercise Bike combines a high-speed high-inertia perimeter weighted flywheel with ECB (Eddy Current Brake) magnetic resistance to provide quiet, smooth and consistent momentum throughout the wide range of programs and resistance levels.

The Schwinn MY17 170 Upright Bike offers the same amount of programs and resistance levels as its predecessor, i.e. 29 workout programs and 25 ECB resistance levels so there’s plenty to keep you motivated and challenged (see full list of programs offered in the table below).

The Schwinn MY17 170’s newly designed console is easier and more intuitive to use yet offers the same premium features as the previous model, including Dual Track blue-backlit LCD displays (see table below for list of workout stats displayed), USB charging port, acoustic chamber speakers with MP3 input, adjustable 3-speed cooling fan, media shelf, and 4 user profiles.

The new console has the addition of Bluetooth connectivity so you no longer need to use a USB stick to transfer and track your workout data online.

The Schwinn MY17 170 Exercise Bike offers 2 different ways to track your heart-rate to help you stay within your target heart-rate zone – you can use the contact pulse-grip sensors built into the handlebars or use your own wireless chest-strap (not included) with the telemetry enabled console.

The Schwinn MY17 170 Upright Exercise Bike is ergonomically designed and offers some nice touches for additional user comfort such as the angle-adjustable handlebars and padded elbow rests.  The contoured saddle is padded and is 4-way adjustable (up/down/fore/aft) for a custom fit for different riders.

Sturdily built for long-lasting durability, the Schwinn MY17 170 Exercise Bike features integrated levellers for added stability and allows for a maximum user weight capacity of up to 300 lbs.
