The Snode R16 is a well-made entry-level Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike for a low price.

Basic, but functional, the Snode R16 Recumbent Exercise Bike offers 8 levels of magnetic resistance which are easy to adjust via a simple-to-use turn-knob.

This bike has no programmed workouts  – simply get on and start pedaling!  Start off at your own pace and increase the resistance as you improve to keep yourself challenged.  The magnetic control system ensures smooth and quiet operation throughout.

The Snode R16 Recumbent Bike does come with a small digital LCD Monitor (battery operated) that tracks and displays your workout stats as you cycle to keep you motivated.  Stats displayed include Time, Speed, Distance, ODO, Scan, Calories Burned and Pulse Heart-Rate.

Your pulse heart-rate is measured via the built-in pulse sensors in the Snode R16’s handlebars located on each side of the seat.  This feature can help you stay within your target heart-rate zone as you exercise.

The Snode R16’s Monitor also features a small media shelf to place your own tablet or mobile phone so you can keep entertained as you cycle.

To accommodate different users, the Snode R16 Recumbent Bike’s seat is adjustable for different user heights (though may not be suitable for taller people).  The seat is easy to adjust via the bike’s telescopic regulator knob – simply turn the knob and pull up to adjust the distance between the seat and the pedals.

The Snode R16’s seat itself is padded for comfort and the backrest gives added support.  The seat is easy to mount and dismount thanks to the recumbent bike’s low-step through frame.  The seat measures approximately 15” wide with a distance between the seat’s handlebars of around 54.5 cm.  The seat to floor distance measures around 38 cm.

The Snode R16 Recumbent Bike utilizes a heavy-duty 3-piece crank system and features large non-slip foot pedals with adjustable foot straps for safety.  The 3-piece crank system is a bonus on an exercise bike at this low price level – most bikes in the entry-level range only have a 1-piece crank system which tends to be weaker and feels less smooth when pedaling as well as tending to sound more noisy!

The Snode R16 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike is sturdily and durably constructed, supporting a high user weight capacity of up to 300 lbs.  For added stability, this bike also features adjustable stabilizers for leveling on uneven floors.

For ease of relocation, the Snode R16 features front-mounted transport wheels to make it easy to move to a new location in your home if needed.  The bike itself weighs around 50.7 lbs.

The Snode R16 Recumbent Bike’s dimensions measure around 46” long x 22” wide x 36.6” high, and because the bike’s Monitor is battery operated, you can place the bike anywhere in your home without having to worry about finding a spot near a wall/power socket!
