Lifecore Assault Air Bike versus Schwinn AD Pro, Commercial-grade Air Fan Bikes Compared

The Lifecore Assault Air Bike and the Schwinn AD Pro Airdyne Bike are both solidly built with high-quality commercial-grade components for long-lasting durability and intensive use.

Both the Lifecore Assault Air Bike and The Schwinn AD Pro Airdyne Bike retail online at a similar price to each other and are suitable for home or commercial gym use.

The Lifecore Fitness Assault Air Bike has stood the test of time, whereas the Schwinn AD Pro is a new addition to the Airdyne Range but shows a lot of promise, especially based on the success of the Schwinn AD2 and Schwinn AD6 Airdyne Bikes.

Both the Lifecore Assault and the Schwinn AD Pro work on air resistance, effectively offering unlimited resistance levels with the premise that the faster you pedal the harder the resistance will be.  Both air bikes offer a total body workout with moving handlebars to work your upper body in unison with your cycling action that works your lower body.

The Lifecore Assault and the Schwinn AD Pro both come with LCD workout monitors that display your workout stats and offer a variety of fitness programs.  Both air bikes offer wireless heart-rate monitoring compatibility (chest-straps available separately).

Look closely at the pictures of the Lifecore Assault and Schwinn AD Pro and you’ll see that the design of the handlebars differs.  The Lifecore Assault has traditional styled air bike handlebars whereas the Schwinn AD Pro has unique multi-positioned handles that enable you to place your hands either vertically or horizontally for a variety of workout options.

Both air bikes offer adjustable seats to help you get a comfortable riding position.  The Schwinn AD Pro’s seat is 4-way adjustable (up/down, fore/aft), but the Lifecore Assault’s seat is actually 6-way adjustable with the addition of a tilt option as well as the up/down, fore/aft.  However, the Schwinn AD Pro features a universal rail and clamp system which enables you to easily swap out the seat for one of your own.
