As you would expect, the Nautilus MY18 U618 has some upgraded features over the U616 including a 30 lb flywheel, a SightLine tilting console with STN display for better viewing, a higher user weight capacity (325 lbs instead of 300 lbs), multi-position handlebars with larger elbow rests, In-Reach resistance controls in the top of the handlebars, a gel-cushioned seat, and dual water bottle holders instead of just one. (See full features and specifications compared in the tables below.)
Both the Nautilus MY18 U618 and U616 Upright Exercise Bikes utilize an Eddy Current Brake resistance system for smooth and quiet workouts. Both bikes feature 25 resistance levels and 29 workout programs offering a great variety of training options, although programs may differ between the two bikes with the U618 offering higher intensity training programs such as intervals and challenges.
The Nautilus MY18 U618’s SightLine console is the best in the fitness industry with its tiltable design and STN display for the best viewing angle and better visual colors. However both the U618 and U616’s consoles are blue backlit and display motivating workout stats including time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart-rate (contact pulse grip and telemetry-enabled heart-rate monitoring available on both bikes).
Both the Nautilus MY18 U618 and U616 Exercise Bikes allow for 4 user profiles and are also Bluetooth enabled for seamless transferring of workout data to online fitness tracking apps including Nautilus Connect, My Fitness Pal and other partnered fitness apps.

Both the Nautilus MY18 U618 and U616 Exercise Bikes have angle-adjustable handlebars and both feature elbow rests for added comfort, although the elbow rests are larger on the U618 bike. The Nautilus MY18 U618 also has the added bonus of In-Reach resistance controls in the top of the bike’s handlebars for quick and easy resistance changes whereas with the U616 you can only change the resistance on the console.
For a custom fit for different riders, both the Nautilus My18 U618 and U616 Exercise Bikes feature a 4-way adjustable seat that can be adjusted up/down/fore/aft. Both bike seats are comfy, however the design of the seat varies between the two bikes with the U618 having a gel-cushioned seat that helps to cushion the glutes for a more comfortable ride over longer workouts.
Both the Nautilus MY18 U618 and U616 Upright Exercise Bikes come with a generous warranty to reflect the manufacturer’s confidence in the bikes’ long-term durability, although the warranty differs between the two bikes with the higher-end U618 having a longer warranty overall (see details compared in the tables below).
