Both the Schwinn AD Pro and AD6 Airdyne Bikes utilize wind resistance that effectively offers unlimited resistance levels, working on the premise that the faster/harder you pedal the more intensive the resistance will be.
Being the top-model, the Schwinn AD Pro offers several upgrades over the AD6, including the addition of 9 workout programs which the AD6 doesn’t have.
The drive system differs between the 2 Schwinn Airdyne Bikes with the AD Pro utilizing a single stage direct-drive system, while the AD6 utilizes a dual-stage super torque belt system.
The Schwinn AD Pro also features an up-graded saddle which is adjustable both up/down and forwards/backwards for a custom fit, while the AD6’s saddle only adjusts up/down.
