Both the Marcy NS-654 and NS-652 Upright Exercise Bikes utilize a smooth and quiet magnetic resistance system with 8 preset levels of resistance to choose from, allowing you to start off at your own pace and increase the intensity of your workout when you’re ready. The resistance is easy to adjust via a simple-to-use turn-dial resistance knob.

Both Marcy exercise bikes come with a battery operated LCD Monitor that tracks and displays your workout progress as you cycle. As previously mentioned, the Monitor supplied with each of these two bikes is designed differently (see pictures), with the NS-654 (black version) having a slightly larger display than the NS-652 (white version). Both Monitors display the same workout metrics: Time, Speed, Distance, Calories burned, ODO, and Scan.

The seat on both the Marcy NS-654 and NS-652 Exercise Bikes is adjustable to accommodate different user heights, but as there is a slight difference in the overall size of the bikes, it follows that there is a slight difference in the inseam height range suitability between them – the NS-654 Black bike allows for an inseam range of 26” – 30”, while the NS-652 White bike allows for a higher inseam range of 28” – 33” so the white version may be more suited to taller people.
Both the Marcy NS-654 and NS-652 Foldable Upright Exercise Bikes allow for a user weight capacity of up to 250 lbs.
Both Marcy exercise bikes feature a high-density foam padded seat but the NS-654 Black bike has a slight larger seat for added comfort, measuring around 12” x 9” compared to the NS-652 White bike’s seat that measures around 10” x 10”.
Additional features on both the Marcy NS-654 and NS-652 Exercise Bikes include fixed handlebars and counter-weighted pedals with adjustable foot straps.
Both Marcy bikes have a fairly small footprint so are
ideal for people with limited space in their home. As previously mentioned, the dimensions vary
slightly between the two Marcy Bikes with the NS-652 White version having a
slightly smaller footprint at around 32.5”
long x 16” wide x 44” high compared to the NS-654 Black version’s footprint of
around 34” long x 19” wide x 44” high.

Both Marcy exercise bikes are sturdily constructed with a heavy-duty alloy steel frame which folds for easy storage, with the NS-652 White bike folding to a slightly smaller footprint of 14” long x 18” wide x 51” high compared to the NS-654 Black bike’s 18.5” long x 19” wide x 51.5” high folded dimensions.
