The MaxKare RB-MKE901 is a well-built Recumbent Exercise Bike for home use and, at its relatively low price, offers great value for money.

The MaxKare Recumbent Exercise Bike’s flywheel system operates smoothly and quietly and offers 8 levels of magnetic resistance, allowing you to customize your workouts for an easier or harder workout.  It’s straightforward and easy to use - simply turn the resistance dial tension knob located on the side of the bike’s front post to increase or decrease the intensity of your workout:

·         Levels 1-2 for gentle exercise

·         Levels 3-5 for mid-range exercise

·         Levels 6-8 for high intensity exercise

The MaxKare Recumbent Exercise Bike RB-MKE901 comes with a useful LCD monitor (battery operated) so you can track your workout data as you cycle to keep yourself motivated.  Stats displayed include Time, Speed, Distance, Calories Burned, Heart Rate, and ODO.

Your heart-rate is monitored via the MaxKare’s contact pulse rate sensors built into the handlebars each side of the seat and can help you to stay within your target heart-rate zone as you cycle.

There’s also a handy tablet/phone holder integrated on the MaxKare’s monitor to place your own mobile device so you can listen to music or watch a movie as you cycle.  It’s a great idea to keep entertained as you exercise, the time will fly by!  (Note that that if you place a tablet in the holder, it will cover the monitor’s screen so you won’t be able to see your workout data at the same time.)

The overall design of the MaxKare Recumbent Exercise Bike makes it easy to mount and dismount and the seat/rail system is adjustable for different user heights (suitable for inseam range 27 – 35” / user height range 4ft 8” - 6ft 5” tall).  Simply use the adjustable seat lever to bring the seat closer or further away from the bike’s pedals.

The seat itself on the MaxKare Recumbent Bike is large and comfy (seat size: 14.5” wide x 11” long x 1.5” thick / padded with high density sponge) and the backrest offers welcome support and a more laid-back feel to your workout.

The pedals on the MaxKare Recumbent Bike feature a non-slip surface and adjustable foot straps for safety.

Durably constructed with a steel frame, the MaxKare Recumbent Bike supports a recommended 220 lbs maximum user weight capacity although in reality its sturdy construction could probably support up to 300 lbs without any problems.

For ease of portability / relocation, the MaxKare Recumbent Bike features front-mounted transport wheels.  The bike itself weighs around 65 lbs.

The MaxKare Recumbent Exercise Bike RB-MKE901 has a fairly compact footprint of 45.7” long x 18.9” wide x 41.7” high so won’t take up too much space in your home unlike some of the other larger, heavier and more expensive machines on the market!
