The Segway miniPRO utilizes a powerful 1600 watt dual motor engine that allows you to safely reach top speeds of up to 10 mph and you can go for distances up to 14 miles on a full charge with its UL-certified lithium-ion rechargeable battery. “The Segway miniPRO is easy to learn and rides very smoothly. I’ve been looking at getting a hoverboard for a while but my partner said it was better to get this Personal Transporter as it’s easier to balance. I tried the standard Segway several years ago at a theme park and liked it but I didn’t know where I would be able to use it because it was too big. So finally I got the miniPRO. It’s pricey but worth it and the whole family will use it. It’s not hard to understand and ride – it runs smooth and is really easy to control. It took me a few practices to master getting off it. My 12 year-old has no experience of Segways or hoverboards but still found it easy to get on and control. Fun for all the family! My legs/knees feel kind of sore after riding it for about 10 minutes. I haven’t tried it outdoors yet as it’s raining here and the instructions say you shouldn’t get the miniPRO wet. I’m not sure if I could lift it into the trunk of my car as it’s quite heavy. When it was delivered, 2 guys carried it from the truck to my front-door (shipping weight around 44 lb).
