The Diamondback 2013 Overdrive V 29’er Mountain Bike with 29” Wheels is designed for cross-country mountain bike riding and is suitable for numerous types of terrain, including beginners up to intermediate single-track trails, gravel and dirt roads or paths, as well as paved roads for commuting.
The Diamondback 2013 Overdrive V 29er Mountain Bike is a quality-built bike, designed for a smooth, lightweight feel, yet is strong and sturdy.
The Diamondback Overdrive V features a Butted 6061-T6 aluminium frame which uses airplane grade aluminium which is heat-treated to create extra strength in the metal. The butting process allows for varying thickness of the frame tubes, adding more material for extra strength at important stress points. This great combination means that the Diamondback Overdrive V is more sturdy and lightweight than many other mountain bikes.

The suspension fork on the Diamondback Overdrive V helps to absorb shock as it compresses while riding over bumps, helping to reduce stress and fatigue to the cyclist. The large 29” wheels of the Diamondback Overdrive V also help to reduce impact by rolling over obstacles more easily. The larger wheels give the mountain bike better momentum and more surface contact which helps to increase cornering and straight-line traction as well as making the bike less prone to sinking on muddy terrains.
Motivational tip: Just a 30 minute cycle ride can burn between 207-345 calories for women, or 252-420 calories for men, depending on the intensity of the cycling.

“The Diamondback 2013 Overdrive V 29er Mountain Bike is an absolute bargain! You can’t beat the quality of this bike for the price. I’m new to mountain biking and this bike is ideal for beginners/novices. The 29” wheels feel like they can take anything you throw at them. The bike itself feels very powerful, it really is amazing. I found the bike to be very easy to assemble.”
M.S.:
“The Diamondback Overdrive V is a very good quality bike that doesn’t cost too much. It’s very lightweight and 29” wheels give more torque for riding.”
J.R.:
“I’m very pleased with the quality and price of the Diamondback Overdrive V. You sit higher than you think due to the rim size. The frame is heavy duty and well built. I did replace the pedals for better ones, but no big deal. Bike arrived fast and was well packaged. Excellent value.”
