Both the Green Bike USA GB1 and GB-FS5 utilize Shimano 7-gear, Shimano Altus derailleur, Tektro front disc brake and rear V-brake.

The GB-FS5 also offers full-suspension compared to the GB1’s front suspension only, giving the GB-FS5 a smoother and more comfortable ride.
The battery in each Green Bike USA is slightly different, with the GB-FS5 having a Samsung 36V/13AH and the GB1 having a lithium 36V/12AH. The battery in both these bikes is removable for easy charging.
The seat and handlebars on both bikes are adjustable up/down to suit different user heights.
All components on both bikes are waterproof but you can’t dip the bike more than 15 degrees.
Both the Green Bike USA GB1 and GB-FS5 come with Kenda tires, mud guards, a rear rack, a kickstand, and LED light.

Both the Green Bike USA GB1 and GB-FS5 E-bikes are built to high standards with impressive battery life to go further than many other electric bikes. These bikes are fun to use and take the effort out of cycling, especially if you need some assistance getting up big hills!
I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with either of these bikes. If you want to save yourself some hard earned $$s opt for the Green Bike USA GB1. However, if you like the idea of the extra pedal assist levels/speeds and want a bit more comfort from a full suspension, then opt for the Green Bike USA GB-FS5. For the relatively small extra cost, the GB-FS5 is well worth it!

“I’ve had the Green Bike USA GB1 for around 2 weeks and so far so good! I use it daily to get to work (just over a mile away). I weigh around 185 and this bike zips along at around 19 mph.

“In my opinion, the Green Bike USA GB-FS5 is miles ahead of its competitors. The bike arrived well packaged and in perfect condition - I just had to charge the battery before I first used it. I took it for my first ride and did 20 miles in total with a slight gradient hill (10 miles one way and 10 miles back). The battery still had a good charge left even though I was doing 20 mph for most of the time. I went out again the next day and put another 5 miles on it and still had some juice left in the battery. I think that 40-50 miles on a single charge is possible on pedal assist alone. This is a quality bike – great for commuting or just fun rides.”
