The extra lower pedal height on the DeskCycle 2 allows for users up to 5ft 10” tall to work at a desk as low as 27”. The Original DeskCycle can be used at a 27” desk for people up to 5ft 8” tall.
Both the DeskCycle 2 and Original DeskCycle Under Desk Bikes are durably designed with a drive system that operates super smoothly and quietly so it won’t disturb your co-workers or disrupt those all important phone calls etc.
The DeskCycles’ drive system combines a high-inertia 3 lb flywheel that provides an effective flywheel weight of 39 lbs of resistance (flywheel rotates at 13 times the speed of the crankshaft) with a twin belt drive system and magnetic resistance.

The DeskCycles offer 8 calibrated resistance levels via an easy-to-adjust turn-knob and both the DeskCycle 2 and Original come with a removable LCD monitor (battery operated) that can be left on the bike or placed on your desk (via a cable and stand) so you can see your workout data as you pedal including: Time, Speed, RPM, Calories and Scan.

The DeskCycle 2 comes with a slightly larger LCD monitor and can track up to 10,000 minutes of activity before it needs to be reset, whereas the Original DeskCycle only tracks up to 1,000 minutes before needing to be reset.
DeskCycle now provide an App (available on the App Store) for your desktop, Android or Apple device with which you can also keep track of your activity, set goals and view progress (manual input required) and the DeskCycle is now compatible with FitBit and Apple Watch (optional Bluetooth accessory available separately).
For user comfort and safety, the DeskCycle features large stay-flat pedals with adjustable Velcro foot straps. The pedals offer bi-directional motion so you can choose to pedal in a forward or backward motion to work different muscle groups.

Both the DeskCycle 2 and Original DeskCycle Under Desk Bike Pedal Exercisers are sturdily built and constructed with quality components. They feature sealed bearings and steel components for maintenance-free pedaling and are constructed with a wide 20” front leg to prevent rocking.
Both units also feature anti-slip rubber feet and have a Kensington security slot on the front of the machine allowing you to secure your DeskCycle to one of your desk legs with a Kensington laptop lock (available separately).
The DeskCycle itself weighs around 24 lbs and has a footprint of 24” long x 20” wide. This pedal exerciser is designed to be used sitting in a chair and will support a user weight capacity of up to 350 lbs (NOT suitable for standing use).

Original DeskCycle Under Desk Bike Pedal Exerciser |
Summary:
The DeskCycles
are one of the best Under Desk Bikes you will find on the market. They are very well made, work extremely
smoothly and quietly, and have the lowest pedal height to give you more leg
room space so you don’t hit your knees on your desk as you cycle. The updated DeskCycle 2 with its adjustable
pedal height will obviously be more suited to those people who are a little
taller but apart from that, there’s very little difference between these two
pedal exercisers.
Note:
As with all
Under Desk Bikes, you may find it better to cycle at a lower resistance level
while you need to concentrate on your work – this will help to keep you in a
low cardio zone, increasing your energy level and oxygen to the brain but
without distracting you from your work. In
this respect, Resistance level 3 or lower is recommended on the DeskCycle. Go for the higher levels when you’re doing
work that doesn’t need as much concentration!
