For safety, the Dahon Speed Uno Folding bike features Dahon DoubleLok latch system, which means that every latch has a secondary lock, ensuring that each latch is secured safely before riding. When folded, the bike stays folded securely via Dahon’s unique magnetic latching system. Folding the bike takes as little as just 10 seconds!
With its single-speed and rear coaster brake, the Dahon Uno has no brake cables or shifter cables to worry about, making it virtually maintenance-free! The rear coaster brake of the Dahon Speed Uno allows you to simply pedal backwards to stop the bike.
The Dahon Speed Uno Folding Bike is adjustable for different rider heights from 4ft 8” up to 6ft 4” tall.

“The Dahon Speed Uno Folding Bike is not too heavy, folds well and fits under my seat on the train! The clamps are strong, but look plastic, hope they last. This bike is a real head-turner and I get lots of compliments on it. The seat is adjustable and I’m comfortable riding it. Bear in mind that it’s a fixed gear bike and it’s not easy to pedal uphill. Overall, this is a great bike. A little pricey, but worth it!”

“I bought the Dahon Speed Uno for my husband to commute to and from the train station for work. He is able to fold the bike and take it on the train and he is also able to take it in the elevator and fold it up to store under his desk at work. The bike is very easy to ride on flat surfaces and so far has proved to be very reliable. Being only 1 speed, I wouldn’t say it’s practical for long distance cycling but for train commuters it’s very good.”
