The stylish Diamondback Lux Women’s Mountain Bike frame is built with Butted 6061-T6 aluminium for strength and durability and features a newly designed super-low formed top-tube for increased clearance.
Part of Diamondback’s Devine Designs Range, the Lux's 27.5” wheel size is a perfect size for a women’s mountain bike – it's larger than the traditional 26” wheel to better handle all sorts of terrain but it's not as big as the previous model’s 29” wheels with which some people felt like they were sitting too high and which were better suited to taller people.
The Diamondback Lux is built with quality components including an SR Suntour XCT 27.5 Suspension Fork with Soft Spring 80mm Travel to help smooth out the bumps and give you a comfortable ride. In addition, the Speed Lock feature enables the rider to adjust the rebound of the fork for optimum pedalling efficiency, allowing you to go quicker and longer distances while exerting less energy.
The Shimano drivetrain with EF51-8 speed trigger shifters TX50 front derailleur, Acera 8 speed rear derailleur and Shimano HG20 8 speed cassette combined gives you a total of 24 gear options to choose from, enabling you to tackle hills and flats at the right pace for you.
The Diamondback Lux features Tektro IO Plus mechanical disc brakes with 6” rotors are tuned for trail riding and provide effective stopping power.
The Diamondback Lux Mountain Bike is available in several different frame sizes for the best size and fit, including: Small (15”), Medium (17”) and Large (19”)
